Plastic Surgeon

View the latest Plastic Surgeon Jobs below.

Plastic Surgeons specialise in the replacement, repair or reconstruction of various areas of the body. Surgeons tend to deal with either cosmetic surgery or reconstructive surgery, though some perform both. High annual salaries are associated with plastic surgery roles, though extra training is required.

Plastic Surgeons must complete medical school training, followed by a plastic surgery residency period. Residencies for Plastic Surgeons are usually longer, typically between 5 to 7 years, as opposed to the typical 3 to 7 experienced by less specialised medical doctors. In addition, they must take an extra year of residency for any subspecialties.
